13. Have good reasons. Write it down. Know your reasons. Think of them… and write them down. When you have people you love, and you do for them, that has a lot more power than you can do for yourself. Doing it for yourself is good too, but you have to do something that you REALLY want to happen, for very good reasons.

14. Know your quit desires, and be prepared. We all have the effort to stand up, but especially the unconscious. One of the most powerful things you can do is start to be more aware of those complaints. A good exercise is to walk all day on a piece of paper and mark the balance each time you get the desire. It only informs you of complaints. Then work from the bottom of the list eliminating issues that aren't worth the fight, and plan ahead.
15. Make it a rule never to miss two days in a row. This law considers our inherent tendency to miss days. We are not perfect. So, you missed one day… now the second day is upon you and you feel lazy… tell yourself NO! You will not miss two days in a row! Zen Habits says so! And just get started. You will thank them later.
16. Visualize your goal, daily, for at least 5-10 minutes. Visualize your successful outcome in more detail. Close your eyes, and think carefully about what your successful outcome will look like, how you will feel, smell and taste and feel like. Where are you when you succeed? What do you look like? What are you wearing? Create a clear mental picture as much as possible. Now here's the key: do it every day. At least a few minutes each day. This is the only way to keep that motivation going.
17. Keep a daily journal of your goal. If you are not consistent in keeping a journal, it may be a good motive. The journal should include not only what you did during the day, but also your thoughts on how it went, how you felt, what mistakes you made, and what you can do to improve. Consistency in keeping a journal, do it right after doing your daily work goals. Make magazine keeping a sensory experience.
18. Create a friendly, supportive competition. We all have natural competition, at least a little bit. Some more than others. Use this part of our human nature to use it to achieve your goals. If you have an exercise partner or a goal scorer, get everything you need for a friendly competition. See who can go the extra mile, or save a lot of dollars, every week or month. See who can do the most pushups or pullups. See who can lose the most weight or have the most abs abs or lose several inches at their waist. Make sure the objectives are balanced so that the competition is evenly balanced. And support each other in your goals.
19. Make a great commitment to the community. Be fully committed. This will always be a strategy. Create a blog and announce to the world that you will achieve a certain goal in a certain day. Dedicate yourself to the hilt.
